Women’s time/Czas kobiet
After years of planning, after times of viral uncertainty, and finally after the bronze medal of the World Championships for Kasia Niewiadoma, the day has finally come when the first Carpathian Couriers Race for Women will start. The race in 2022 will be held as part of the Polish Cup for the elite and juniors from Poland and abroad, and from the following years it will become a full-fledged event from the UCI calendar. The race will take place on August 28-29, and the arena of the competition will be the roads of Świętokrzyskie and Małopolskie Voivodeships, well-known from youth struggles. To paraphrase a well-known saying, we can safely say that there is no more beautiful view than a horse at a gallop, a ship under full sail and … a girl on a bicycle :)
Po latach planowania, po czasach wirusowej niepewności, a wreszcie po brązowym medalu Mistrzostw Świata dla Kasi Niewiadomej, nastąpił wreszcie ten dzień, gdy wystartuje pierwszy w historii Karpacki Wyścig Kurierów dla Kobiet. Wyścig w 2022 roku odbędzie się jeszcze w ramach Pucharu Polski dla elity oraz juniorek z kraju i zagranicy, by od lat następnych stać się pełnowartościową imprezą z kalendarza UCI. Wyścig rozegra się w dniach 28 – 29 sierpnia, a areną zmagań będą dobrze znane z młodzieżowych zmagań świętokrzyskie i małopolskie szosy. Parafrazując znane powiedzenie, możemy śmiało powiedzieć, że nie ma piękniejszego widoku niż koń w galopie, okręt pod pełnymi żaglami oraz… dziewczyna na rowerze:)
