„Highlanders” for the start – „Górale” na start
This year’s edition of the race will start completely flat, but then it will only be uphill. The Carpathian adjective of the race obliges, therefore, during the three mountain stages, you should expect as many as 12 mountain premies of an identical category, and most of them were set in Slovakia. We would like to remind you that the last three winners of the jersey for the best „highlander” are representatives of such mountainous countries as Estonia and the Netherlands. Maybe some more original „highladers” will fight in the Carpathians this year?
Tegoroczna edycja wyścigu rozpocznie się zupełnie płasko, ale potem, będzie już tylko pod górkę. Karpacki przymiotnik wyścigu zobowiązuje, dlatego też podczas trzech górskich etapów należy się spodziewać aż 12 premii górskich jednolitej kategorii, a większość z nich wyznaczyliśmy na Słowacji. Przypominamy, że ostatnich trzech zdobywców koszulki dla najlepszego „górala”, to reprezentanci takich górzystych krajów, jak Estonia i Niderlandy. Może w tym roku w Karpatach powalczą jacyś bardziej oryginalni „hajlanderzy”?
