Gdy 13 marca 2020 roku odwołaliśmy z powodu koronawirusa jubileuszową 37. edycję Karpackiego Wyścigu Kurierów, a potem w pełni optymizmu zrealizowaliśmy pandemiczną, klasyczną wersję wyścigu, to z nadzieją patrzyliśmy na przyszły sezon w 2021 roku.
Jednak obecna sytuacja daleka jest od normalności – COVID-19 nadal panuje w Europie, dominuje we wszystkich aspektach życia i znacznie ogranicza zmagania sportowe. Dlatego ponownie, pełni nadziei, którą dają letnie miesiące, jesteśmy zdecydowani na przeniesienie kolejnej edycji wyścigu na drugi, alternatywny termin.
Chcemy poinformować, że za pośrednictwem Polskiego Związku Kolarskiego rozpoczęliśmy oficjalną procedurę zmiany terminu 38. edycji wyścigu, którą planujemy w dniach 29 – 31 sierpnia 2021 roku. Wyścig będzie się składał z prologu oraz trzech etapów ze startu wspólnego.
Z uwagi na obecne trudności z przekraczaniem granic, które nie wiadomo kiedy się zakończą, w porozumieniu ze sponsorami oraz partnerami zagranicznymi, podjęliśmy decyzję, że kolejny, pandemiczny wyścig odbędzie się tylko w na terenie Polski. W 45-letniej historii imprezy, takie rozwiązania stosowane już były w 1990, 1993, 1996, 2009 i 2020 roku.
Wierzymy, że najbliższa edycja nic nie straci ze swojego wysokiego poziomu sportowego, a na kurierskie trasy Polski, Słowacji i Węgier, Karpacki Wyścig Kurierów wróci jeszcze mocniejszy.

When on 13th March 2020, due to the coronavirus, we canceled the 37th jubilee edition of the Carpathian Courier Race, and then fully optimistic, we realized the pandemic, classic version of the race, with hope we looked at the next season in 2021.
However, the current situation is far from normal – COVID-19 still prevails in Europe, dominates all aspects of life and significantly reduces sports struggles. Therefore, once again, full of the hope which the summer months give us, we are determined to move the next edition of the race for a second, alternative date.
We would like to inform you that, through the Polish Cycling Federation, we have started the official rescheduling procedure for the 38th edition of the race, which we are planning on 29th – 31st August 2021. The race will consist of a prologue and three stages from a joint start.
Due to the current difficulties with crossing the borders, which end is impossible to predict, in consultation with sponsors and foreign partners, we have decided that the next pandemic race will take place only on the territory of Poland. In the 45-year history of the event, such solutions have already been used in 1990, 1993, 1996, 2009 and 2020.
We believe that the next edition will not lose anything of its high sports level, and the Carpathian Couriers Race will return even stronger to the courier routes of Poland, Slovakia and Hungary.
